Apollo chair by Svend Skipper for Skippers Mobler, and ottoman.
Ottoman 22" wide x 19" deep x 13.5" high
This 'Apollo' model easy chair is made of a black bent plywood frame and black leather upholstery. Produced by Skippers Furniture in Denmark during the 1970s, the piece looks similar to the “Kroken” chair designed by Ake Fribytter by Nelo. The chair is in good vintage condition, with some wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
Modern Danish design easy chair with bucket seat and ottoman with natural black leather upholstery.
The bucket style hammock seat is suspended from the beech frame and will adapt to the shape of each person sitting. You will feel almost enveloped by the chair.
This combined flexibility is also added by the flex in the laminated beech frame which gives the chair a slight bounce.
The chair cushion is fully upholstered in natural black colored leather which is stitched with black cord to blend with the leather.
