This print is RARE … Read more This is a hair design by the iconic French "maitre coiffeur" (master coiffeur) Alexandre de Paris. This print is RARE and unique. It had limited circulation. It was a drawing specifically for the Hubert de Givenchy's Fall-Winter haute runway fashion show in 1995-96. (reverse side) This design was included in a folder of selected fashion designs (see Givenchy designs in our shop) sent as an invitation to private clients to attend the haute couture runway show featuring the season’s collection. Thus, it did not have wide circulation. Alexandre de Paris was recognized worldwide. He was the hairdresser who styled many famous women including the Duchess of Windsor, Jackie Kennedy, Princess Grace of Monaco, as well as Hollywood stars such as Greta Garbo, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and many more He was nicknamed the "Prince de la coiffure". His signature chignons and flamboyant designs made him famous. This design is RARE as it appeared in limited circulation. signed by him. It is in pristine condition. Perfect for today's fashionista.
