Exquisite tureen with lid and plate made of Luneville porcelain, mid-20th century. This tureen features an oval shape with two curved side handles and a matching base plate. Both pieces are decorated with hand-painted floral motifs, predominantly magenta and pink, yellow, purple and green. This ornament is distributed in bouquet cartouches representing the Luxembourg rose as the protagonist accompanied by small yellow and mauve flowers, and entangled with scrolls following the baroque spirit. In addition, the handle of the lid are vegetables and fruits in round packages (radish, strawberry and lemon). Very decorative, this legume container is also perfect for serving food. There is a matching tureen with lid, which would make a set of two.
