Classic and sturdy looks thanks to the the black leather 'Chester' style upholstery. Elegant solid wood frame.
Most symbolic for post-war Skandinavian design, reflecting the new era of consumer prosperity during the second part of the 20th century. This chair design is clearly inspired by the work of Kai Kristiansen and France and Son.
Very comfortable chair. Very good condition with normal minor signs of age. No broken slats, all wood is solid, thick black leather still feels supple and fine ( also the armrests ), cushions are great as well. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
