Fabulous large antique oil painting of a NYC socialite. Measuring 38 inches wide by 49 inches tall with the frame being 6 inches wideall around. Fine condition signed illegible.
The painting is inscribed on the back frame "self portrait of Fran Kieckhefer" but that is not correct. I believe it is a portrait of Mrs Kieckhfere by an American artist whose first name is Beth but the last name is hard to read. Nonetheless it is an exceptional antique painting in fine condition.
