Exceptional and increasingly hard-to-find pair of vintage Maitland-Smith porcelain table lamps, made in Hong Kong and retaining their original shades and finials.
These striking lamps feature an intricately detailed maritime scene with colorful sailing ships cresting stylized blue-gray waves, accented by delicate seabirds and mounted on sculptural antiqued brass bases. The combination of fine porcelain craftsmanship, coastal imagery, and classic Maitland-Smith design creates a sophisticated statement pair ideal for traditional, chinoiserie, Palm Beach, coastal, or eclectic interiors.
Their impressive 30-inch height gives them substantial designer presence, while the rare nautical motif sets them apart from more commonly seen floral or chinoiserie Maitland-Smith examples.
Both lamps retain the original matching shade and are marked Maitland-Smith.
