The Pop Art poster print is published by Graphique De France. Printed in France in 2002 in an unnumbered limited edition. It features an iconic artwork image originally created by Villemot in 1984 titled " Orangina ", copyright 2002 Artists Rights Societry ( ARS ), New York / ADAGP, Paris.

bernard Villemot ( 1911 - 1989 ) was a French graphic artist known for his iconic advertising images for the brands Orangina, Bally Shoes, Perrier, and Air France among many others. He is credited for his artistic vision and his ability to create an advertising message to a memorable image with simple, elegant lines and bold colors. During the 1940's - 1960's his works were exhibited in Paris at The Gallery of Beaux Arts and The Museum of Decorative Arts.

In 1953, he was asked to design the logos and posters for a new soft drink, Orangina. These works would become some of his best known. Villemot is known as one of the last great poster artists of his time, and considered by many to be the " Painter-Laureate of Modern Commercial Art ".

The rare out of print framed French Pop Art poster print measures 27 3/4" W X 20" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern satin finish copper tone metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition consistent with age and very light signs of handling.
