C.1960s; Mid-Century, Attributed Aldo Londi for Bittossi, Italian ceramic glazed rectangular shaped vase in the style of the venerable Bittossi Foundry of Italy. A luscious color combination, of vibrant cerulean blue and Mediterranean blue hues, with minute turquoise green and black colorations offsets the aztec style of imprint or raised relief with and incised imprint design details, which Bittossi is known for. Predominantly this particular color way happens to be the most popular of all the facets of designs and colors utilized by the Bittossi Foundry, especially in it's height of popularity, which has seen a resurgence of collecting these pieces from a bygone era, of eclectic decorative ceramic pieces. Bittossi also manufactured pieces for sport into the US Market, for Rosenthal-Netter, and American based decorative goods purveyor of pieces like this. We have other listings of Bittossi and/or Rosenthal-Netter Pieces throughout this storefront, but we have a special fondness to this particular color hue. Sourced from a Stuart, Florida Estate.
