This gorgeous Eastlake-style table boasts hand-carved legs, burlwood veneer, a hand-turned center, and a timeless rectangular, removable marble top. This table was hand-crafted in the early 1900s by the Bassett Table Company (note the label affixed to the underside of the marble). The table has casters on each leg that are newer, not original, but helpful for moving.
This gorgeous Bassett table with its beautifully patined marble would look spectacular in an entryway, library, or sitting room.
The marble top with its smooth, curved corners is 30" W, 22" D, and 0.76" H. The walnut table base is 28" W, 18.5" D, and 28.5" H.

The walnut base is sturdy and the marble top is solid. Commensurate with its age and use, there are a few small chips along the side of the marble and very fine etching, as noted in the photos. The table also has small areas of wear and small areas where the burled veneer has chipped. Both of these issues are minor and difficult to notice. less
