Signed on bottom, with original studio sticker, dark espresso matte glaze with contrasting unglazed areas. Well known Californian potter he studied at the Brooklyn Museum School in Brooklyn, New York and MFA Otis Art Institute (now Otis College of Art and Design) in Los Angeles, California. Edwards was a student of Peter Voulkos at Otis. He also studied under Marguerite Wildenhain and Soji Hamada. See less
