This bronze is well modeled after the sculpture that now lives in the Louvre, further it has a bespoke wood plinth that really adds gravitas to the piece. The base is signed R Lion Sauvage for Ron Liod Sauvage (French 19th/20th Century).

Condition: Good condition with some wear to the gilt bronze surface.
