The oldest version of chair No. 14 in almost perfect original condition. Only one armrest has repaired cracks and the string also has a few defects. Otherwise, the chair is remarkably well-preserved for its age, the screws are all original, the original finish, also beautifully preserved, was only cleaned and lightly polished with shellac. The oldest paper label by company Thonet has also been beautifully preserved. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
