We fell in love with the chunky brass hardware and the inverted taper legs. This table design is alleged to be attributed to furniture designer Harvey Probber who was widely considered the inventor of sectional seating however we haven’t found actual confirmation of that connection. This side table is constructed of mahogany solids and veneers and measures 25” wide X 25” deep X 23” high. It is in great condition for its age. The single drawer works smoothly and has a sliding divider tray perfect for remotes. The most notable damage or wear came from the four melted rubber bumpers holding up a protective glass top. We were able to clean off and remove all of the melted bumpers but there are faint circles, light dents/scratches and residue left from the decades of use. The table comes with the glass top if you’d like to use it. With it on the table you can barely see the marks left by the old melted rubber bumpers. We took the pictures without the glass top to really try and show the marks but also how absolutely stunning the rest of the table top is. The glass did protect the majority of it to look brand new. We have tried to represent the wear accurately, but additional photos are available on request. See less

The drawer is solid and operates with ease. The frame is sturdy and solid. The only real noticeable issues are the marks, slight dent scratches, and light residue from the 4 melted rubber stoppers for the protective glass table top. We cleaned off the rubber on the table top and the glass but in the right lighting you can see where they use to be and some wear around that area. If you choose to reuse the glass table top it disguises any real appearance of the wear. There is a small nick on the drawer front that could be disguised as distressing but we don't think it is. We inspect and clean all our furniture but we do not attempt to refinish or restore. We have tried to represent the wear accurately, but additional photos are available on request. less
