A large antique handforged cattle bell, made in Switzerland around 1900. The bell comes with its original brown leather strap with buckle. Bells like this are still used today to locate cows, goats and sheep on the high pastures. The animals wear them around their necks so that the owners can easily find them in the alpine landscape. Good condition with a beautiful patinated surface. An authentic antique piece that will make a great addition for your decoration and bring the Swiss countryside into your home.
