The extensive Bertoia collection, which metal artist Harry Bertoia designed for the American furniture manufacturer Knoll International in 1952, also includes a bar stool that is available in two different heights. The filigree seats made of curved metal are light and airy, and their transparent construction presents the sophisticated seat shell, reminiscent of a wire basket. The high chair is made of chrome-plated steel wire and comes with a seat cushion. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
