Wilhelm Wagenfeld (1900-1990) the famous German product designer and student at the Bauhaus Dessau, designed these glass bowls in 1938. After the 2nd World War the Vereinigte Lausitzer Glaswerke VLG produced Wagenfeld glass products in the GDR.
