My husband is a homebuilder of very high end homes. He had access to many very talented craftsmen, one of whom turned this finial. The piece also looks lovely displayed on top of a stack of books as a decorative piece. It was turned from a solid piece of hardwood. It could be stained or painted to match your decor. It is presently unfinished wood. See less
