Offered is a turned and lathed artisan-crafted red-toned wood (aged Redwood) stem or twig vase bearing an unidentified maker's mark on the bottom.
Clean-lined and austere, it has a very small mouth and is an example of the Japanese art of "ikebana" for creating simple dried floral arrangements. It is not intended for immersing twigs or flowers in water.
It measures 3.5 in width and depth, 8.75" in height, has a base that is 2.5" in diameter, and a mouth that is 0.25" in diameter.
