This mirror image pair of cloisonné vases depicting lionfish was designed by Fabienne Jouvin of Paris. Born in 1962, Fabienne Jouvin graduated from the Duperré school of applied arts in 1985. She has spent her travels with a sketchbook at her side. This pair of vases was designed after 1996 as a part of her Asiatides collection. They are enamel on copper. Fabienne lives and works between Paris and Provence.
These vases are in very good original condition with wear consistent with age and use.
