About the Poster: A fun and colorful poster for Music Day (Fête de la Musique in french), a celebration held in France every year on June 21 since 1981. On Music Day, citizens and residents are urged to play music outside in their neighborhoods or in public spaces and parks. Free concerts are also organized, where musicians play for fun and not for payment. (Source: Wikipedia)
About the Artist: Michel Bouvet was born in 1955 in Tunis (Tunisia) and studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He lives and works in Paris. His studio works are mainly for public institutions: theatres, operas, museums, festivals, dance companies, orchestras... and for publishers in France and abroad. He has participated as a poster artist in international biennales in Warsaw, Toyama, Lahti, Helsinki, Brno, Fort-Collins, Mexico, Chaumont, Rzeszow, Sofia, Ogaki, Zagreb, Moscow, Hangzhou, Taipei, Chicago and the Art Directors Club, New York.
This poster is in good condition with some minor crease. It would make a vibrant addition to any living room decor or even a music venue!
