A very good still life etching with aquatint. The work is signed and numbered, in pencil. While the work is appealing, the frame is equally, if not more, so. The work is housed in a black Italianesque cassetta style frame with a very appealing scrafitto design in gold.
Note that there is a W. King Ambler label, verso, attributing the work to Roger Hebbelinck (Belgium B. 1912) and it appears to date the work to 1958. We have some reservations with respect to this attribution as the signature is at variance with Hebbelinck's other works (see Enzo Tami). It is, nonetheless, a very well executed work of art in a very good frame.
