Elegant and rare Majolica stork with a bamboo vase signed Delphin Massier, circa 1890.
The Massier are known for the quality of their unique enamels and paintings. The Massier family excelled in the representation of all animals at the end of 19th century: birds, roosters, parrots, donkeys, frogs.
The flamingo is represented in several forms, as vase, pedestal, cache pot, jardinière.
