Leather encased ceramic vase with a modernist horse design. Circa 1950s. Marcello Fantoni (1915-2011) was a Florentine artist who specialized in ceramics. He studied at the Art Institute in Florence, where Libero Andreotti and Bruno Innocenti were his sculpting professors and Gianni Vagnetti was his figurative art professor.
