It is an offering that features classic Art Deco imagery of elongated lines of highly stylized designs. The designs are illustrated and signed by Leon Benigni who worked in Paris during the Art Deco years. These prints are done in a deep rich gold metallic ink which had limited use during the 1920-30s. These inks were used specifically in fashion and costume designs. The process was labor intensive and costly, making them RARE and thus, difficult to find, especially in a set of 3 images. The Art Deco styling and shapes of Benigni's work reflect the use of rich colors and luxurious, sumptuous materials. They reflect an optimism and prosperity that was abound during the time.
