The prints are beautifully detailed and colored, which is difficult to capture in a photograph. Therefore, it's worth noting that they appear even better in person.

I believe the Baxter oil method was used to print these. This method produces color prints by applying special oil paints one color at a time using engraved steel plates and cut-away wood blocks. Joseph Kronheim, an expert engraver and artist, is believed to have produced these prints, which are known for their rich colors.

These prints come ready to hang in giltwood frames, complete with hanging wire on the back. The pieces feature beautiful hand-painted mats with gilt along the beveled edges.
