We were told it is a late rare Piece . Although , we have no other validation of this . It is Exceptional Exquisite French Italian loveseat Settee Sofa!! It features an interlocking design on the back decorated with small shell designs The arms are joined to a generous seat with curved ends and a serpentine front. It is Upholstered with a two tone green stripped fabric. The cabriole legs are delicately curved.We listed this stunningly gorgeous rare Settee as 1800’s. However, the previous owner and a longtime furniture expert stated “ This Settee is an important 1700’s piece.” As we have no appraisal or validation it is a 1700’s piece we have listed it as 1800’s . It is definitely at least 1800’s. We will remove the upholstery for further signs of 1700’s age. We decided to enjoy this wonderfully special Settee and it has proudly been sitting in home Entry Hall , for many years. We have Never brought it to our Bellevue Wa Premier Timeless Elegance Antiques shop to place for sale. We have now finally decided , to sell this very special Settee and several other treasured pieces. we have loved!! This exquisite Settee is a treasure of Find, and would be fabulous with any fabric , if reupholstered. Our loved and admired Timeless Elegance Antiques shop was torn down for high rise development.
