Hand-crafted in Italy in the early 18th century, having a round top with elaborate shaped apron, supported by a richly decorated turned pedestal, rising on four splayed acanthus scroll feet.

Wear commensurate of age and use with scattered areas of chips, cracks, and nicks throughout; scattered areas of loss to gilt throughout; minor age related split observed to table top; scattered areas of overpainting observed, nothing that detracts from the display or functionality but only adds to the sophisticated antique character, elegant warmth, and rich historical depth that can only be acquired over very long periods of time See less
