18th century engraving portrait of the English portrait painter John Greenhill (c. 1644-1676) and John Baptist Jaspers or John Baptist Gaspars (died 1891). Both were associated with the English artist Sir Peter Lely (1618-16780).
Engraved by Alexander Bannerman (c. 1730-1774) from the publication by Horace Walpole "Anecdotes of painting in England : with some account of the principal artists, and incidental notes on other arts : collected by the late Mr. George Vertue, and now digested and published from his original Manuscript." This is probably from the 1798 publication, but could be from 1765 edition.
