CASTILIAN PEWTER REARING STALLIONS WITH GLAZED GLASS BOWL
I found and purchased this stunning home décor item in a high-end gallery in Washington, DC over 30 years ago. It was in the front display window and when I walked by with my husband, we both simultaneously stopped to admire it. Did we need it – No. Did we have to have it – a resounding Yes! It has served as a center piece and graced our home ever since.
This is a beautifully sculpted and commanding Equestrian Centerpiece. Of Castilian origin and utilizing only the finest pewter from Italy, this artform has been meticulously crafted by master Italian artisans. The Pewter has a rich Antique Matte Finish. The design and detail are stunning. The magnificent pewter base, of three fiery rearing stallions, supports the large and impressive 18.5W glazed bowl. The Pewter Horses reflect the intricate artistry and detailed design of true Italian craftsmanship. This is a spectacular vintage statement piece sure to impress and treasure for years to come. This piece is a Castilian original design #5130. Measures 17"H/18.5W/18.5D.
