This Elliot Hall enamel egg box is the original Artist Proof designed and hand-painted in England by E. Todd. Artist Proofs represent the first piece created in an edition and are used to establish the final design, with only one produced for each series. The egg-form box features a screw-top lid and an enamel exterior decorated with yellow daffodils. The artist’s signature is located on the side, and the base is marked “AP” along with the Elliot Hall backstamp.
Elliot Hall is known for producing limited-edition, freehand-painted enamel works on copper, created without transfers and finished by skilled studio artists.
