This gorgeous miniature needlepoint artwork depicts a lush garden folly complete with a Romanesque structure and white benches. Despite the small scale, the artist was able render incredible details within the stitches. Working largely in a palette of green, the varied trees envelop the central architecture. Housed in a minimal brass frame with glass. The backing of this piece is also interesting, as it repurposes a fabric with floral embroidery and metal bullion. Unsigned.
