A limited edition lithograph by German artist Johnny Friedlaender (1912-1992). Titled "Oiseaux Fleches (Arrow Birds)," this piece depicts abstracted elongated birds in a subtly striped brown and cream background with a small blue sun shape to the left center. Signed to the lower right and marked "Épreuve d'artiste (Artist's proof)" to the lower left, the print is displayed in a gold tone and brown wood frame and a cream mat.
Johnny Friedlaender was born in Poland in 1912. He taught etching in a Paris gallery while traveling internationally. His work has been exhibited worldwide, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan, and the United States.
