The body and arms of this piece are made of clear, colorless Venetian glass. The piece has further detailing of scroll stems, twirling leaf ends, and rigaree trim; exhibiting a masterful flair in glass craftsmanship.

The glasshouses on the island of Murano are famous for highly ornamented glass chandeliers made of pincered and molded blown glass. This elegant chandelier showcases a mastery of Venetian glass craftsmanship. This mid-century chandelier is a pared-down interpretation of the ‘Ca'Rezzonico’ style of chandeliers created by Giuseppe Briati in the 18th century. The ‘Ca'Rezzonico’ style is named for the Venetian palace, today a public museum dedicated to 18th century Venice, where Briati’s initial masterpiece resides.
