Designed by Ralph H. Widdicomb for the 1933 Chicago Worlds Fair's Florida House display which featured the best designs of the period . Chrome and Bakelite pulls on the two drawers and door with storage , a movable top for a make up platform with storage inside and the illuminated mirror makes this a statement piece in any interior . Nickel plated chrome hinges shows the very well crafted details of this fine superb example as documented in Rick Emmett's 2014 book American Art Deco Furniture page #387 . This vanity is from a special order very limited run of the Florida House vanities by the Widdicomb Furniture company Grand Rapids Michigan . See less
