The design for this classic ottoman was introduced in 1951 by Franco Albini and Franca Helg. The ottoman can “pull triple duty” as a low-profile table perfect for resting a tray of cocktails or a lamp; a simple seat for unexpected guests, or for simply putting up your feet after a long day. It has been used as a low-profile table and we will include the 18” circular glass top (see photos 3 & 5) with the purchase of the ottoman. Note, the pottery vase is not included. This beauty measures 24” x 24” x 16” W/D/H; seat width/depth 19”; weight 5 lbs. Handcrafted from natural rattan which has aged into the gorgeous mellow golden patina as seen in the photos. Structurally sound; woven lashes and bindings are intact and tight. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. Unmarked but attributed to Franco Albini due to its craftsmanship, materials used and specific design style. With its sculptural and elegant nest-like design, the ottoman truly distinguishes itself as an all-round multipurpose piece of furniture that blends harmoniously with any design style.
