Antique needlework sampler inscribed Mary E. Thompson, dated 1848, with double letter alphabets, fruit baskets, small birds and floral border in green and ochre /yellow on a loose weave linen ground. We have seen similar samplers described as Delaware Valley Quaker. Nicely framed, ready to display. Photographed through glass. In very good condition as shown.
