Both decorated with relief forte, three-dimensional fruit, one with pears and the other apples. They come with factory made perforations on the reverse, ready to display. The Faïencerie Fives Lille was founded c. 1862 by Antoine Gustave De Bruyn (1838-1916) who came from a long line of Belgian potters and settled in Lille, France. Hard-to-find pair in very good condition.
Measurements: 10 5/8" (27 cm) diameter approximately.
