Stunning portrayal of a sea bass lying on a bank by the waterside, a landscape of mountains, houses, windmill and sailboats on the background. Kilbourne (1836-1881) was a noted American artist from Bridgeport, Maine. The Sea Bass chromolithograph is from Game Fishes of the United States, Boston: Armstrong and Co. published 1878-1881.
