A handsome pair of large William Yeoward hand-made glass oil and vinegar carafes in a generously proportioned form inspired by 18th- and 19th-century English and Irish designs. One bottle is inscribed “Olive Oil” and the other “Wine Vinegar,” making the pair both decorative and practical for use on a kitchen counter, pantry shelf, buffet, or dining table.
William Yeoward was a British designer known for updating traditional English style for contemporary interiors. He established William Yeoward Crystal in London in 1995 with crystal specialist Timothy Jenkins, combining historic English glassmaking traditions with contemporary design.
Each bottle is clearly marked with an acid etched distinctive William Yeoward mark on the underside. Their simple, timeless shape works well with traditional, contemporary, and modern table settings and would look equally appropriate displayed on a kitchen counter, open shelf, bar, sideboard, or dining table.
The substantial size makes these particularly useful for keeping olive oil and vinegar readily available for everyday cooking and serving or as attractive vessels on a dining table.
A lovely choice for someone who appreciates William Yeoward glass, well-designed kitchen accessories, or beautiful objects that combine practical use with understated style. They would make an especially thoughtful housewarming or new-home gift, as well as a wedding, anniversary, engagement, or hostess gift for someone who enjoys cooking and entertaining. Their classic design also makes them a nice choice for a gourmet cook, dinner-party host, or collector of British designer tableware.
Price is for the pair. Both bottles are available. The pieces still retain their original William Yeoward green ribbon labels, bearing the brand's distinctive wax-seal-style emblem. Carefully packed, fully insured shipping with tracking.
Measurements: approximately 10 1/2" high including stoppers by 4" diameter widest point.
Capacity: 600ml / 21oz each.
