The four matching pieces have a pinecone and needle motif (pommes de pin in French) and a dark green patina. All pieces are signed Frecourt, the signature of Maurice Frecourt, a French sculptor active in the Art Deco period. The bottom seal stamps wax a lion passant and fleur de lys. The inkstand, wax seal and bowl are also marked Bronze Veritable (Real Bronze). These are heavy and substantial pieces weighing close to 5 1/2 lbs unpacked. In very good condition with patina wear, small scratches and imperfections as shown.
