Benjamin Roubaud (1811-1847) was a French artist and lithographer. He studied art in Paris and exhibited paintings at the Salon between 1833 and 1847. At the end of his life he concentrated on Algerian subjects such as these. Roubaud died in Algeria in 1847, at the age of thirty-six. Zoom into photos to appreciate in detail.
