A pair of mid-century “His and her” armchairs. Designed in the 1960s by prominent Czechoslovak designer Jaroslav Šmídek for UP Závody. Made in the former Czechoslovakia. Made of fabric, springs and beech wood. The color of the fabric was intentionally different to differentiate the man and lady chair. In very good Vintage condition, shows slight signs of age and using. Set of 2. Dimensions of the armchair: 69x89x70 cm (WxHxD) Seat height: 36 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
