This elegant evening bag is from the 1920s, made of woven fabric on the outside with a silky interior and ruffle top fabric. The outside detail has hand applied steel beads of which there are a few missing, but it's not noticeable. The inside has an interior pocket with little wear. The gathering chain is steel and loops through brown bakelite rings to gather the purse closed by the weight of the bag. The bottom tassel is covered entirely with steel beads.
It is in a shadowbox frame to display by hanging or using the easel stand in your own boudoir. Easy to remove should you decide to use the bag. But being sold as an art piece.
