Side chairs featuring a striking medallion spider back depicting feathers converging into a central rosette, all circled by a delicately carved, scalloped garland. Many chairs similar in back style are not as carved and intricate as this pair. Very comfortable curved front seat upholstered in a purple mohair with supportive jute webbing construction. Gold-painted, heavily distressed finish. Fluted carvings on tapered legs. Purchased from Sony Studios Prop House auction in Culver City, CA.
Back medallion is 16" wide x 16.5" high. Seat width at back of chair is 16".
