The lithograph print exhibition poster is published by The Galerie Karsten Greve Paris, printed in France in 1990 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition. It features an Abstract Expressionist artwork image originally created by De Kooning in 1981 titled " Untitled XI ".

Willem De Kooning ( 1904 - 1997 ) the Dutch born Abstract Expressionist painter is known for his " Action Painting " style artworks. He was a part of a group of artists that became known as The New York School in The Mid Century including Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Franz Kline, Arshile Gorky, Mark Rothko, Hans Hofmann, Robert Motherwell, and Clyfford Still among others.

The works of De Kooning are considered to be some of the most important Abstract Modernist paintings of The 20th Century. Artworks by De Kooning are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums including The Museum of Modern Art New York, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Smithsonian Institution, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Guggenheim Museum, and The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.

The rare out of print large format framed Paris exhibition poster measures 27 1/2" W X 38 1/2" H X 3/4" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a classic Modern matte finish black metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
