18th to 19th Century Sampler with Birds
Fantastic sampler with amazing detail. The sampler is hand sewn over a linen background.
The middle of the sampler is distressed and could use some restoration, or display as is.
An amazing selection of color and patterns. The sampler show 4 birds surrounding a center with a tree and what appears to be an elk. The other scenes in the middle are difficult to make out because of the wear to the sampler.
The surrounding floral motifs look great. This is a fine piece that a bit of TLC could bring back to life.
