The original vintage exhibition poster is published by The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, printed in 1976 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the iconic exhibition. It features a photo image by Lee Boltin of " Selket, one of four goddesses protecting Tutankhamun's funerary equipment ". Poster design by Irwin Glusker.

Tutankhamun ( 1341 - 1323 BC ) was an Egyptian Pharaoh of The 18th Dynasty during the period of Egyptian history known as the New Kingdom. He has, since the discovery of his intact tomb, been referred to colloquially as King Tut. The 1922 discovery by Howard Carter of Tutankhamun's nearly intact tomb received worldwide attention. Relics from the tomb are among the most traveled artifacts in the world. The most well known exhibition tour was " Treasures of Tutankhamun " tour organized by The metropolitan Museum of Art. More than eight million viewers attended the exhibition which ran from 1976 to 1979.

The rare out of print large format collector's exhibition poster measures 24 3/4" W X 38" H. it is in very good vintage condition consistent with age, use, and light signs of handling and wear. It has never been framed. There is some visible signs of handling and light surface wear. Please see photos for condition reference. It will frame very well.
