They slightly different size, … Read more This is an absolutely fantastic and rare pair of WPA 1930s era, New Mexican arm chairs. They slightly different size, most likely a Mr. and Mrs. pair. Handmade by the same maker, they are all hand pegged, mortised and carved. The spindles are even hand carved. Main measurement is the taller of the two chairs. The shorter version measures 34” tall x 24.5” wide x 26” deep. There is age appropriate wear throughout. Notice slightly deeper than taller chair. Seat and arm heights are the same. They have wonderful details all around. Very good solid construction! More recent leather straps. Lounge armchairs are very hard to find. These were possibly out of a Harvey house or other hotel lobby. See less
