This is a rare, authenticated, and signed lithograph print by Andy Warhol featuring Jon Gould. . It measures 23.62” x 23.62” and was created in 1972.
The edition was published by the Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute Pittsburgh in 1986. It is a limited edition, numbered 1973 out of 2400, with the numbering done in pencil on the front. The print is stamped on the verso with CMOA for authentication.
It is signed in the plate by Warhol. The condition of the piece is excellent, as it has never been framed and has been stored in archival conditions. Warhol's portrayal of Jon Gould has captured the iconic image of the Chairman and has become a defining artwork of the 70s.
