Circa 1927 Original plate etching, hand-painted by Alexander Liebmann of aviators Chamberlin and Levine's arrival in Munich from New York. One can see the domes of Frauenkirche, iconography to this city, which was built in 1583-1597. Chamberlin and Levine were aviators who made documented, transatlantic and historical flights from New York, to Germany and France, with an emphasis on going to each capital city of each country in the European hemisphere. Artist signature lower right hand corner front, and lower left front within the plate, in addition to the backside being numbered.
In excellent condition, except for a couple brown spots, otherwise great for age.
